We are located in the beautiful western mountains of Maine, only three hours from Boston.  The Bethel area is Maine's premier four-season recreational, retirement, and second home destination, located in western Maine, in the Androscoggin River valley, and the Mahoosuc Mountains.

There are two ski resorts in the area, Sunday River Ski Resort, featuring 131 trails spread across eight interconnected mountain peaks each offering a distinct experience. The resort is serviced by a network of 18 lifts including four high-speed quads ensuring easy access to every corner of the resort.and Mt. Abram Ski Resort, with skiing and snowboarding for all abilities at very affordable prices. Five lifts will speed you to the top to choose from 44 trails. 

You can also enjoy golfing at our two golf courses, Sunday River Golf Club, which is a Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed 18 hold championship course that winds through one of Maine's most picturesque forests in a truly spectacular mountain setting and Bethel Inn Resort, with 18 holes taking maximum advantage of the mountain vistas and natural beauty of the area.  

There are many trails and loops for Hikers, cyclists and joggers.  The Androscoggin River offers abundant fishing, canoeing and kayaking opportunities of various lengths.  There are also many ponds, such as Songo Pond, North Pond, South Pond and Twitchell Pond to enjoy with public access.  Sunday River Resort's Chondola scenic rides and Mountain Bike Park are now open for the summer season.
